Evaluation of surface roughness of rock-like joints using close range photogrammetry method

چکیده

Abstract The surface roughness of the joints affects their hydraulic and mechanical behavior. There are various methods for assessing discontinuities. With development photography technology release powerful software, a photogrammetric analyzer has been introduced as non-contact evaluation method. In this research, three-dimensional model fracture was constructed using close-range procedure joint coefficient (JRC) is derived from profiles. Also, profiles were surveyed Profilometers (Barton Comb) JRC values obtained Z 2 Calculations performed in two sampling steps 0.42 1.27 mm. Ultimately, results compared. A Sony Cybershot HX1 digital camera used to capture images. To process images build 3D model, they loaded “Agisoft metashape” software. point cloud data with very high accuracy distance 0.13 mm between points model. show that photogrammetry method, upper joint, recorded 8% 11% difference intervals mm, respectively. While bottom these differences 6.1% 10%

Assessment of Dem Quality for Characterizing Surface Roughness Using Close Range Digital Photogrammetry

This paper presents a procedure for assessing the quality of a digital elevation model (DEM) which has been applied to the output of a normalized cross correlation based stereomatching algorithm. Using semimetric photography of natural gravel river bed surfaces acquired in the field, digital photogrammetry was used to extract DEMs automatically for use in characterizing surface roughness proper...

Measuring glacier surface roughness using plot-scale, close-range digital photogrammetry

Glacier roughness at sub-metre scales is an important control on the ice surface energy balance and has implications for scattering energy measured by remote-sensing instruments. Ice surface roughness is dynamic as a consequence of spatial and temporal variation in ablation. To date, studies relying on singular and/or spatially discrete two-dimensional profiles to describe ice surface roughness...

3d Surface Modelling of Tomato Plants Using Close-range Photogrammetry

The production of agricultural cultivates under intensive systems requires of big quantities of pesticides for fitosanitary control. Pesticides application is a major component of tomato production costs under greenhouse in Almería, Spain, and the excess in their applications have a great negative impact on the environment. A pesticide application is ideal if the spraying coverage is presented ...

Close Range Photogrammetry and Enhanced Recording of Palaeolithic Rock Art

Recording of archaeological sites has long been studied by many scientific organizations. However, the analyses and evolution of human beings through rock art is one of the most challenging tasks in prehistoric archaeology, not only because of the unpredicted contribution to the understanding of the past but also because of the difficulties for appropriate recording. Tracing, rubbing and photog...
